Works as part of a team to provide ideal service for our guests. The host/hostess is most often the first employee a guest sees when entering our restaurant, and therefore, she must greet all guests in a professional, energetic, and sincere manner that sets the tone for an ideal experience at Coltivare.
Greets and seats guests and assists wait staff as necessary to provide legendary guest satisfaction. Manages the restaurant telephone and assists guests with retail purchases. The host/hostess must adhere to all Coltivare service standards as outlined in the standards of service and order of service. Acts as an ambassador of Coltivare and TC3 and is knowledgeable of the culinary arts, sustainable farming degree programs, and continuing education programs; acts proactively to cross-market these programs to all guests. Responsible for upholding all of Coltivare’s service standards and assisting the Management Team in meeting the educational mission of the TC3 Culinary Center at Coltivare and the College while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction resulting in overall guest loyalty, student success, staff satisfaction and revenue growth.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related experience and/or training. Must have experience that provides evidence that the candidate has a good understanding of the role of the Host in providing outstanding customer service; the ability to communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing; and the ability to exercise mature judgment.
EXPECTED HIRING SALARY RANGE: $14.00 – $16.00 per hour plus percentage of gratuity.
