The Busser/Food Runner at Coltivare works as part of a team providing ideal service for our guests. Responsible for clearing and resetting tables, and delivering food to the appropriate tables as needed.
The Busser/Food Runner must adhere to all Coltivare service standards as outlined in the standards of service and order of service. Acts as an ambassador of Coltivare and TC3 and is knowledgeable of the culinary arts, sustainable farming degree programs, and continuing education programs; acts proactively to cross-market these programs to all guests. Responsible for upholding all of Coltivare’s service standards and assisting the Management Team in meeting the educational mission of the TC3 Culinary Center at Coltivare and the College while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction resulting in overall guest loyalty, student success, staff satisfaction, and revenue growth.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: No prior experience or training required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Interested candidates must be willing to work weekends and have a flexible schedule to meet the Center needs. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel food and equipment; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste and smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to oversee service throughout the restaurant (peripheral vision and depth perception).
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $10.00 per hour plus percentage of tips. Compensation includes a competitive benefit package which includes vacation time, sick leave, health insurance with employer contribution, dental and vision.
